Why In The World Are They Spraying

I came across a story as a Facebook group today called "Why In The World Are They Spraying". I thought I needed to 'troll' the board only as it was creating mass hysteria to what appears to be just a clever marketing project.

I found out that the group was only to sell a DVD and it seems to have got out of hand with hundreds and thousands of followers which is superb for a marketing campaign. Obviously this got me thinking on possible ways to also release documentary as I didn't think that these styles still work. Many groups that send out viral pictures and quotes used to be for selling books and product, particularly throughout media and I advise people to look through their 'likes' to actually check exactly what they are associating themselves with. Don't worry - I need to do the same with mine too!

As an ambassador for a reality film / documentary distribution company, I can assure you that there are many true and worrying stories that make incredible documentary that I could point you in the direction of and hence why I made comment on this one (I am not associated in any way). There are also some great films that are based on true events. Almost all films are 'based on a true story'; please remember a story doesn't have to be true - that one always makes me laugh.

Anyway, I have given a quick debate of the film in my comment that may or may not stay on the board but for those of you that don't see it; you can see the crazy viral going marketing campaign here and you can read my comments below. The grammar and spelling wasn't checked on this one so it is possibly a poor edit prior for me needing some sleep - however it was only intended to be a quick troll to spark some debate. It did however soon inspire me into noticing something very intriguing about the interests of a mass viral audience.

Please bare in mind that I am genuinely not associated with the film but find it very interesting to hear some of the theories that people are interested in. For those that agree with me and some of my comments on the group then feel free to follow me and ask about other films that are truer documentary than the one in question.

"I'm going to like this page because it is quite POSSIBLE that the weather could be getting manipulated by adding of chemicals to the atmosphere but hold on...As not to go completely out of context and to create too much mass hysteria whilst sending your DVD sales rocketing with this viral (very clever) group and media campaign; a few things should be pointed out to the more susceptible:1. Lots and lots of things can be done these days because of science, a greatly accelerating and population and how we have advanced in technology and understanding; it doesn't mean that there is a reason to this. There are lots and lots of very crazy things the human race can achieve including going to the moon and beyond. The point that we can effect water is nothing more than basic chemistry and it has been possible for far longer than the group here would suggest.2. Engines create energy, the surplus energy is heat which releases from the energy as steam. Because the temperatures at the average jet flight are about -57ºC outside, the steam instantly turns to ice creating the many wonderful but harmless things you see in the sky. The most harmful things you could expect from a jet are the emissions of carbon, your car does this too.3. The question very much comes down to "why in the world they?"... who are "they" and where do "they" come from? "Why" well your guess is as good as any if you assume that there is reason to think why at all. I don't see any logical reason why the effort would be passed to create mass harm but obviously a few uncomfortable or paranoid people may assume there are reasons. Also I'm not saying that it is a fact it isn't happening or otherwise. I'm saying there is no logical reason to assume it would be.4. It is far more likely for those people interested in conspiracy theory (and I'm sorry but unless facts and evidence exists that is all it is) that every single person who ever needed to eat food could have eaten little nano-bots put in their food to make them fart more or alternatively fibre. Farting would increase the temperature of the ozone and could create global warming. Making people fart would be far more easy than changing all the fuels used by aircraft or your car. Global warming has significantly increased since the rise in numbers of cattle who fart lots. Come to think of it if they wanted to heat up the Earth, they would just take more cattle and wouldn't need to mess with us at all (just saying). You want the place to cool down? stop eating beef or drinking milk.5. Maybe this global warming thing is just a dream. The Earth has been fluctuating in temperature ever since it existed. We had an Ice Age and we had dinosaurs and we have deserts and everything in between. It's just there is a lot more for people to notice nowadays."

With any luck; a few people interested in documentary might take a visit to my new shop which will have a lot more of those sort of films over the coming months. Who knows I might even ask 'Barry' if he would like me to try this one for him! The plan is to make this online shop a specialist and rare documentary heaven.
